SUP Lesson

At either end of Whangamata Beach are estuaries that are great for exploring by SUP. Join one of our experienced paddleboard instructors to learn the SUP basics including how to position your feet on the board, and how to paddle and turn.

Learn the basics of paddle board on flat water or on the waves. Chose a location and paddle across the harbor or estuary and enjoy amazing native bush and an abundance of marine life, only to be seen on a SUP.

WHERE TO MEET

We meet at the SURFSUP trailer at the end of Island View Road (beach access 14), 15 minutes before the tour. After payment and disclaimer are done, we will give you your gear and the tour will start!
