Surfboard Hire

Hire a surfboard and take to the waters of Whangamata, year-round one of the best surf beaches in New Zealand!

Whangamata is a popular holiday destination for kiwi's during the summer and surfers all year round. Our amazing ocean beach provides some of the best surfing breaks, yet safest swimming in the country. Hire a surfboard and check it out for yourself!

We offer a wide range of wetsuits, soft top and hard surfboards for all ages to hire, including beginner boards, longboards and performance shortboards.

Our experienced staff can also help by recommending a suitable match for your ability and/or the surf conditions.

RENTAL PRICES 

  • $20 for 1 hour
  • $30 for 2 hours
  • $45 for a half day / 4 hours
  • $55 for a full day / 8 hours
  • $65 overnight

Wetsuits can be hired for $5 extra.
