Private Surf Lessons

Want to get the most from your time in the water? Our private lessons are the way to go!

 

 

A lesson focused solely on you with close instructor attention and consistent communication will help you to build understanding of the techniques and progress at the fastest rate.

 

Students who are seeking intermediate level 2 teaching with our SNZ level 2 coach will benefit greatly from this option, particularly when combined with video analysis, as a private coaching session enables you to surf out the back and train in wave selection, duck diving, speed and turning techniques.

 

We also recommend a private class for children surfing for the first time, those under 5 years, or others feeling less confident in the water. We have special techniques to ensure a positive start, including body dragging together with the instructor on the wave. We aim to build confidence whilst teaching in a safe manner.

WHERE: Our surf school trailer is located at Williamson Park, by Blackies cafe, just next to the surf club. Click HERE for directions.

WHEN: Our private lessons run everyday at 8am or 12pm, but can also be book at a time that suit you. Contact us for best time of the day.

WHO: With over 15 years of experience we are able to coach a variety of ages. 

HOW LONG: Most sessions are 90min. long, however, allow 2 hours for the full activity.

HOW MUCH: Private lessons are $120 for a 60min session.

WHAT`S INCLUDED: Surfboard, wetsuit, coach.
